Sandhill Crane
Sandhill Crane. This was our first opportunity to nail this North American Crane on its travels south from Aberdeenshire. Taken at Boyton Marshes, Suffolk through the heat haze
Oh...I am so envious! These Sandhill Crane images are wonderful, magical, such beautiful birds. I saw my first one, at a long distance, while driving with the husby at 70 mph in Wyoming two weeks ago;) really very nice~

Beautiful with the touch of red from its beak -a very elegant bird!
