I think ''Scottie'' has just been beamed up.

When one is marooned in a hide during a prolonged electric thunderstorm one gets bored and one's mind wanders.

It may be the first sign of a deranged mind when taking photos of raindrops falling in a puddle keeps one amused!

Red-rumped Swallows

Red-rumped Swallows gathering mud for nest building, near Machin, Romania.
Interesting to note a behavioural difference between Red-rumped and Barn Swallows( see below) when collecting mud;the Red-rumped were calm and sedate whereas the Barns were very twitchy and nervous, constantly moving positions by small flighty jumps.
