| What a way to celebrate a Birthday, 59 again A male LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER For the first time in 3 years I managed to hear, see and digitally record this scarce little Woodpecker at Caster Hanglands. A total of 15 visits were needed during the 3 years and only '' The Great Ornithologist in the Sky'' knows how many hours this represents? Dedication Eh! Also Nuthatch, Tree Creeper, Goldcrest and a Tawny Owl calling in bright sunshine at Midday! |
